I have a new Mini Cooper S that is just so much fun. I discovered after much searching on the web that you can install an AUX input for the 2003 radio to support MP3 devices.
The cable is called MINI Auxillary Audio Input and you can fine the installation instructions here http://www.toastman.net/aux_input.html.
There is also the option to build your own cable (http://www.neeshil.com/nsite/miniaux.asp)but this requires taking out the radio, a much more difficult task that I would like to avoid if possible so I am going to search for the cable to purchase on-line.
