The new template is ready Stu-Art_gallery which features

• Full screen
• Hover menu
• Full screen mode on Gallery page

This template is based on Plain from OSWD.� I still don't know if I like it but at least for now it works and provides the functionality I wanted.

I discovered just how difficult it is to produce CSS based pages that work on both IE and Firefox and in fact this template uses tables and CSS.
